By accessing or using Square Deal (“the Service”), operated by Square Deal Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Square Deal provides an AI-powered negotiation coaching platform for Australian consumers. The Service includes a free loyalty tax calculator that estimates the price gap between your current plan and new-customer pricing on the same network, and a paid AI coaching feature that provides real-time suggested responses during retention phone calls with service providers.
Square Deal is a coaching tool, not a representative. The AI provides suggestions on your screen. You remain in full control of the conversation at all times. We do not speak on your behalf, make commitments to providers, or act as your agent.
You must be at least 18 years old and an Australian resident to use the Service. By using Square Deal, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
The loyalty tax calculator is available without registration. To access paid coaching features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Pricing for paid plans is displayed on our website and may change with 30 days’ notice. Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, with access continuing until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not used the coaching feature on a live call.
The AI coaching suggestions provided by Square Deal are generated by artificial intelligence and are not legal, financial, or professional advice. Suggested responses are based on publicly available pricing data, known retention tactics, and general negotiation principles. We do not guarantee that following AI coaching suggestions will result in any specific outcome, discount, or savings.
Price anchors and market comparisons are sourced from publicly available data and are provided on a best-efforts basis. Prices change frequently and we cannot guarantee accuracy at the time of your call. Always verify offers directly with your provider.
When using the live coaching feature, you are required to disclose to the other party on the call that you are using an AI-powered coaching assistant. Square Deal will prompt you to make this disclosure at the start of each coached session. Failure to make this disclosure is a violation of these terms and may violate Australian telecommunications law. Square Deal is not liable for any consequences arising from your failure to disclose.
You agree not to use Square Deal for any unlawful purpose, to harass, threaten, or intimidate service provider representatives, to misrepresent information about your account or services to your provider, to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or proprietary content, or to resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
All content, software, models, carrier registries, tactic databases, negotiation strategies, and other materials on the Service are the intellectual property of Square Deal Pty Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Square Deal’s liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost savings, lost opportunities, or damages arising from reliance on AI coaching suggestions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@squaredeal.com.au. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
